Batsto River Advisory

The Batsto River in Wharton State Forest is closed to all paddlers from Hampton Furnace (mile 0) to Lower Forge (mile 4) due to obstructions in the river. Kayakers and canoeists are advised to seek alternate locations while New Jersey State Parks works with partners to clear debris and restore access.
