All Washington Crossing Group Campsites are closed for the 2024 season. 

Washington Crossing State Park is located along the Delaware River, just eight miles north of Trenton. The Continental Army, commanded by General George Washington, landed here after its historic crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas night in 1776. The cultural, historic, natural and recreational features of this park provide a unique blend of activities for visitors.

Facility Details

The Park has a Revolutionary War Museum at the Visitor Center, a Nature Center, and historical buildings.  Four public picnic areas and one that requires reservations are available. The Park also has an Open Air Theater which offers live performances from May to September.

The Park has 13 miles of trails for hiking, four miles of trails for biking, and two and a half miles of trails for equestrian use.
